SAP was begun in 1972 by five previous IBM workers in Mannheim, Germany. The first name for SAP, Systeme, Anwendungen, Produkte, is German for "Frameworks, Applications and Products." The first thought for SAP was to furnish clients with the capacity to communicate with a typical corporate database for a complete scope of utilizations continuously.
